About LULÉ HERITAGE
Born from a grandmother's mirror
Every Sunday evening, before I went to sleep, my grandmother would brush my hair.
A hundred strokes. Always exactly a hundred.
She'd sit me on the floor in front of her mirror — an old one, with a gold frame that had lost most of its shine — and she'd take her time. No rush. No phone. Just her hands, my hair, and the soft sound of the brush.
When she was done, she'd wrap my hair in a soft silk scarf and tie it loosely at the top of my head.
"This is so you wake up beautiful," she'd say. "Beauty doesn't come from heat or hurry. It comes from how you treat yourself at night."
I was eight years old. I didn't understand what she meant.
Years later, I understood
I grew up. I got busy. I bought my first flat iron at sixteen. I used it almost every day for the next twelve years.
By the time I was twenty-eight, my hair had lost its shine. The same shine my grandmother used to brush into it on those Sunday nights.
I tried everything. Expensive masks. €60 trims. A €484 styling tool I couldn't really afford. Some of it helped. None of it brought back what I'd lost.
Then one night, I was visiting my mother. I went into the bathroom and found my grandmother's old silk scarf in a drawer. She had passed away years before, but my mother had kept it.
I held it in my hands and I remembered.
"Beauty comes from how you treat yourself at night."
The night that became LULÉ
I started wrapping my hair again. Like she taught me.
Not perfectly. Not with the same scarf — that one I kept folded in my drawer, too precious to use.
But every night, I wrapped. And every morning, I noticed something.
My hair was changing.
Softer. Shinier. The dry tips she would have hated were starting to feel alive again. And on the mornings when I wrapped a little tighter, with a little more intention — I woke up with the kind of curls I used to need a heat tool for.
That's when I knew.
My grandmother had been right my whole life.
Beauty doesn't come from heat or hurry. It comes from ritual.
Why we built LULÉ HERITAGE
We made LULÉ HERITAGE for the women who never learned what my grandmother taught me.
The women who reach for the flat iron every morning because no one ever showed them another way.
The women who spend €60 on every salon trim, only to undo it with heat the next morning.
The women who saw a €484 Dyson Airwrap on TikTok and thought that's the answer — when the real answer has been around for generations.
LULÉ HERITAGE is a return to the ritual.
A soft satin band. Wrapped in the evening. Slept in. Released in the morning to reveal the curls you thought you needed heat to create.
No machines. No damage. No hurry.
Just your hair — and a little intention — every night.
Our promise
We believe a brand is only as good as the ritual it asks you to keep.
So we made LULÉ to be kept. Not used once and thrown out. Not replaced every season.
